RIP

The church bells rang 29 times so we knew it was final and the end of the line. Now 29 miners are at heavens gate with coal silt dirty faces asking is it 2 late? When god replies with half a grin no my children come on in. They place their mining lights gently on heavens floor when ...god said "job well done" leave your boots at the door. Repost in memory of the 29 miners that died at Pike River Mine:-(

My entry for Let's Get Shabby!

I am not normally a "shabby chic" kind of scrapper, but when I saw the challenge was use 3 items from your sewing box, I thought I would try
I have used fabric, pearls and cardboard from packaging.

Both the girls had many pieces of art in the exhibition and as usual the exhibition held most amazing art pieces from children from C hristian College Kindergarten to Year 12 ... the space Villa Paloma is an incredible space !

The one of Clem is from a sketch from Lisa Warren from Storyboardkits.

this one is the layout from the chall the bottom pic is of the card

new layouts

These are my challenge from Camp Mojo - each month they are becoming more of a "challenge" we had to use 3 kinds of punches on the layout and also make a card and use three diff punches on that one too.

LONG TIME NO BLOG

Hi everyone,
Getting back to a new kind of "normal" after some serious health issues, I have learnt to relax, learnt to say no often and made time to sleep whenever my body told me to sleep! I have truly been given a second chance and my faith is stronger than ever. I am still unwell but have managed to remain out of hospital this time for 3 weeks which is a record!

Now down to the reason for this blog to celebrate my scrapping, and my family bless them!!
Thanks for dropping by and I will update more frequently now I am home.

Hugs to my beautiful special friends and family - you know who you arexxx
